Looking for the best team build on Genshin Impact? Genshin Impact has a lot of interesting characters for its players. With the addition of each new region in Teyvat, the total character count is ever increasing. So while each character has its charm, we can easily manipulate the overall attack damage according to different scenarios with a good team build.
So sometimes, it becomes necessary to know how to build a good team for various purposes: exploring the overworld of Teyvat or striking the Abyss Floors. To make this easy for you, here we are with our list of top five team builds in Genshin Impact:
Team 1

Members
Xiangling, Xingqiu, Bennett, Sucrose
Roles
Xiangling – Main DPS
Xingqiu – Sub-DPS
Bennett – Support
Sucrose – Support
This is a top-rated team, also known as the “National” team among the Genshin Impact gaming community. This team, consisting of only 4-stars, is one of the most versatile teams in the whole game. The backbone of this team are three characters: Xiangling, Bennett, and Xingqiu. The combination of these trio is what makes this team so praiseworthy.
Bennet boosts the team’s overall damage while healing the party members. Xingqiu helps to reduce the incoming damage and initiates a Vaporization reaction, while Xiangling burst acts as a huge damage dealer by syncing it with Bennett and Xingqiu.
You can replace the fourth member of this team with any DPS, sub-DPS, or Support character. In this team, any of the four team members can act as a sub-DPS while still maintaining the overall performance, and this is what makes this combination very versatile to use.
Since the core three members of this team: Bennett, Xiangling, and Xingqiu, are 4-star characters, players can obtain them quite quickly from the banners available in the game. This makes it a new user-friendly combination.
Since this team needs a lot of elemental particles, equipping the artifact set “Emblem of the severed fate” will help a lot. For this purpose, you can also consider using weapons from the Favonius series, which provide Energy recharge stats.
Substitute
Sucrose – Raiden Shogun, Kazuha, Beidou, Ganyu, Ayaka

Team 2

Members
Hu Tao, Tartaglia, Xiangling, Xingqiu
Roles
Hu Tao – Main DPS
Tartaglia – Sub-DPS
Xiangling – Sub-DPS
Xingqiu – Support
This team combination is straightforward to master as it does not need any proper order of executing elemental skills and bursts. This team consists of two hydro and two pyro characters.
The main driving force of this team is vaporization, i.e., the elemental reaction of hydro and pyro. Xingqiu can help the team by absorbing the incoming damage.
Since everyone in this team can play the role of sub-DPS, it is one of the most aggressive teams. While this is an enjoyable team combination to try, it lacks a dedicated healer and the energy particle generator for the whole team.
Hu Tao can self-heal, and Xingqiu can also aid a little bit. Healing is not a significant issue for this team. To tackle the problem of energy recharge, players can run artifact sets like “Emblem of the severed fate.”
Substitute
Tartaglia – Yelan, Raiden Shogun, Ganyu, Zhongli

Team 3

Members
Raiden Shogun, Kujou Sara, Yelan, Kazuha
Roles
Raiden shogun – Main DPS
Yelan – Sub-DPS
Kujou Sara – Support
Kazuha – Support
Also known as the “TASER” team, this team primarily rotates around the elemental reaction from Hydro and Electro characters. The most important point while using this combination is constantly using electro-charged reactions while fighting the enemies.
Since in this team, we can replace any character with a relevant 4 stars character of the same element in the game, it is considered a F2P and new players friendly team combination.
Kujou Sara buffs the team’s attack, and Xingqiu helps further increase the already enhanced damage. The overall buff helps the main-DPS play a significant role in dealing with massive damage.
Players can use Favonius weapons to increase the energy recharge of the characters. To gain the elemental particles, using a 4 piece set of the artifact sets “Emblem of the severed fate” is a good option. You can also use a combination of 2 piece sets from “The exile” and “Emblem of the severed fate.”
Substitute
Kazuha – Venti, Sucrose, Xiao
Kujou Sara – Fischl, Beidou,

Team 4

Members
Ayato, Bennett, Kazuha, Kujou Sara
Roles
Ayato – Main DPS
Bennett – Support
Kazuha – Support/Sub DPS
Kujou Sara – Support
This team is one of the best teams to run in the overworld. It is a versatile team that can deal with different scenarios, abyss floors, or enemies in the overworld.
Kazuha’s bursts help increase the elemental mastery of the whole team while shredding enemies’ defenses. Bennett buffs the attack and heals the party simultaneously. Ayato acts as the main DPS while increasing the party’s overall damage with his elemental burst and skill. The fourth member of the party can be of any support.
This team can fight single enemies and control crowds with Kazuha bursts. Energy recharge is also not a problem if you run standard artifacts on the characters. Ayato can generate energy particles for himself. Kazuha and Bennett are also good in this regard.
Like every other anemo unit, Kazuha also works very well with “Viridescent Venerer” as it significantly increases the swirl damage and elemental mastery, increasing the overall damage by a considerable margin. Ayato can use any standard artifact as many artifact sets work very well on him.
Substitute
Kujou Sara – Diona, Eula, Beidou, Yelan

Team 5

Members
Yoimiya, Xingqiu, Tartaglia, Kazuha
Roles
Yoimiya – Main DPS
Xingqiu – Support
Tartaglia – Sub DPS
Kazuha – Support
This team excels against single giant targets, which makes this team quite useful in higher abyss floors. Xingqiu and Tartaglia help by infusing the enemies with hydro elements and initiating a vaporization reaction with Yoimiya’s burst and skills.
Since these three characters can handle the overall situation, we have an advantage: a flexible fourth character. Kazuha does this with his crowd-controlling skill and providing elemental mastery to the team. Using an Anemo unit also gives additional damage by easily triggered elemental reactions. The artifact set “Shimenawa’s Reminiscence” is quite good for Yoimiya. Other characters work very well with their standard artifacts set.
Substitute
Kazuha – Venti, Xiao, Zhongli, Ganyu
Tartaglia – Yelan, Kokomi, Ayato, Mona
